Evalo seekirama naan anupina mailukku reply panni irukeenga!! Romba nalladhu!! I have a lot to talk to u but what I thought was Let this not be a vetti pechu mail. Let there be something useful in this. I will share with a very nice experience of mine that happened some Six or seven months ago!!
My mother, myself and my aunt, we happened to go to Nangannalur one day for a pooja!! We had to go to Mambalam station and from there we need to catch a train to reach the place. Well, while returning from the pooja sat at about 9.00 PM to the railway station, this incident happened. We were waiting in front of the ladies compartment (Means the place where the ladies compartment in the train comes). U have a three-seater there .my mother was feeling too tired to stand. So, she sat in the three seater available. Now, next to her was a beggar (rather a pretty old man) who had just then got a food packet. He was quite old and his hands were shivering to the core. I was just watching this standing besides my mother. He opened the food packet, but did not take anything to the mouth. It seemed like he was hesitating to have it. He waited for say two-three min. then u know what he did? He called my mom and said
"amma, neengalum konjam sappidunga ?? ungala edhirkka vachkittu enakku sapidda kashtama irukku ???"
I was really stunned for a second . I felt like crying out of happiness . great he is !! see , we often talk about manners , decency , courtesy. most of the educated like us don't even know what all these are . for us , talking in English or knowing to eat with a fork and the like are manners . See here , a beggar who doesn’t even have food for the next part of the day , not even a shelter , knows the basic courtesy to share anything and everything with a fellow human being .I am sure , if any of us were in such a position would have never cared about all these .
indha nilamaikka varanumnnu ne illa , nalla irundhale , we don't even care about others feelings . is it not ?? what do u say ?? we are all really blessed . see how god is partial to nice people - always gives suffering to them.
so what I am trying to say , let us learn all these and try to correct ourselves wherever we r wrong . let us be flexible and cultivate give and take policy . after all , this is just one life given to us. let us do the maximum help to others , of course first importance to the family . if each one takes care of their family well , the world will be a peaceful place to live in . But , we all fight in the name of caste , status and all that ... I do accept these matter to an extent , but more than these being good is important , being gentle , kind , patient , generous , caring , understanding , love everyone - all these are more important .
At least we should bring up the next generation with all these values . for that , we have to equip ourselves with these , as u know , children learn only from their parents .
what do u say ??
porumnnu ninaikkaren ????
